Quality and Safety Commitments
At Honeysuckle Day Hospital, our dedication to quality and safety remains paramount. We uphold our Quality Management System in line with ISO9001:2015 and adhere to National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, ensuring the enhancement of healthcare quality in Australia. This year, we have been focussing on new standards in cosmetic surgery, aiming to elevate patient safety outcomes and overall satisfaction.
Exciting Announcements
We are excited to welcome several new Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) to our team:
- Assoc Prof Dr. Ryan Winters – General Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery
- Dr. Georgina Mahony – Anaesthesia
- Dr. Emma Rosenfeld – Anaesthesia
We are also thrilled to announce continued training and in-service sessions on operating days after theatre concludes. Dr. Verma and Dr. Vishnoi are eager to share their extensive knowledge through engaging training and educational sessions on various medical aspects.
Additionally, we are excited to have Peter Murray lead sessions on communication and consumer standards. These training opportunities are designed to enhance our team’s skills and ensure we deliver the highest quality of care.

A Continued Pledge for Safety Our commitment to your safety, especially in the ongoing management of COVID-19, remains unwavering. We maintain stringent protocols, including enhanced sanitation efforts, appropriate use of PPE, and continued vaccination efforts to ensure the well-being of our hospital community.
Our commitment to safety and quality remains strong. The Ministry of Health (MOH) visit is scheduled for 25 June 2024 for compliance audit. This evaluation helps ensure we are consistently meeting high standards. Additionally, in the next quarter, we are aiming for reaccreditation, as achieving this is crucial for maintaining excellence in our hospital, and it validates that we meet the highest standards of patient care and safety. These evaluations are essential in upholding our continuous improvement and dedication to healthcare excellence.
